Black Belt Prep Course

Prepare With Confidence. Train With Purpose. Earn Your Black Belt.

Earning a Black Belt is one of the biggest accomplishments in your child’s martial arts journey.

But as Black Belt Testing gets closer, many students and parents begin wondering:

Are we practicing the right things? Are they ready for the test? What should we be working on at home? What happens if they’re struggling with something?

The Black Belt Prep Course was created to answer those questions and give Black Belt Candidates the extra coaching, accountability, and support they need during the final six months leading up to their Black Belt Test.

Instead of trying to figure everything out on your own, you’ll have the Mastery Martial Arts team helping you every step of the way.

What’s Included

🥋 26 Weeks of Black Belt Prep Classes

Students receive access to our dedicated Friday Black Belt Prep Classes for six months.

These 45-minute sessions are specifically designed for Black Belt Candidates and focus on the skills, techniques, conditioning, and performance standards students will need for their Black Belt Test.

This is more than simply getting extra practice.

We’ll identify weaknesses, make corrections, improve technique, and help students develop the confidence that comes from knowing they are prepared.

🎥 Unlimited Video Reviews

Practicing at home but not sure if something is correct?

Send us a video.

Throughout the six-month program, parents and students can submit videos of techniques, forms, combinations, or other Black Belt requirements for instructor review.

We’ll provide feedback so students know exactly what they’re doing well and what needs improvement.

No more practicing something incorrectly for weeks before finding out.

💬 Direct Access for Questions

Questions are going to come up during Black Belt preparation.

Instead of waiting until the next class, Black Belt Prep families will have a dedicated place to ask questions and get help from our team.

Whether you’re unsure about a requirement, need clarification on a technique, or simply want to know what your child should be practicing next, we’re here to help.

👥 Private Black Belt Prep Community

Families will receive access to our private Black Belt Prep community exclusively for students preparing for their Black Belt.

This will be your central location for:

Training tips
Important reminders
Practice assignments
Video submissions
Instructor feedback
Testing information
Questions and answers
Encouragement and accountability

Your child isn't preparing for Black Belt alone. They’ll be surrounded by other students working toward the same goal.

✅ Black Belt Readiness Assessments

We don't want students walking into their Black Belt Test wondering whether they're ready.

Throughout the program, instructors will evaluate each student's progress and help identify the areas that need the most attention.

As testing approaches, we'll become increasingly focused on making sure students understand exactly where they stand and what they need to do next.

🥋 Mock Testing & Test Preparation

Knowing the techniques is only part of being ready.

Students also need to know what it feels like to perform under pressure.

Black Belt Prep will include opportunities to simulate portions of the testing experience so students can become comfortable performing when they're tired, nervous, or being evaluated.

The goal is simple:

When the real Black Belt Test arrives, it shouldn't feel like the first time they've done it.

More Than Extra Classes

The Black Belt Prep Course isn't simply another martial arts class.

It's a six-month coaching program designed to provide the structure, feedback, accountability, and personal support students need during one of the most important stages of their martial arts journey.

Your child has already spent years working toward this moment.

Now we're going to help them finish strong.
